In Love With Larimar
A couple of weekends ago I was enjoying a sunny Sunday afternoon at the SOWA Open Market and ran across a jewelry maker with a collection of pieces made from lovely blue beads. Similar to turquoise, but softer. Also to Peruvian opal, but not as milky. The stone, as it turned out, is larimar. I’d never heard of it, but I bought a pair of earrings.
